This committee is responsible for creating and editing a quarterly newsletter, which is distributed to all MSHA members four times per year.
Membership
This committee actively works to increase membership in the state, and to determine membership benefits for existing membership.
Legislation
Chair: Lydia D’Wynter
Co-Chairs: Marie Noplock and Gloria Petit-Clair
This committee serves as the liaison to the MSHA lobbying firm, and monitoring, reporting, and responding to the Board and the Membership on legislation pending in the state of Maryland. This committee also plans an annual “Legislative Day” in Annapolis in the Winter.
School Affairs
Chair: Johanna Greenhood
This committee helps to plan an annual Clinical Connections conference, and serves school-based MSHA members with regard to school-based issues.
School Affairs - MSDE/MSHA Steering Committee
This MSDE appointed committee meets regular at MSDE to act as a liaison between MSDE and MSHA on school-based issues. This committee is comprised of school-based speech-language pathologists and audiologists throughout the state.
Adult Service Delivery
Chair: Dede Matrangola
This committee plans an annual half-day adult topic workshop, and holds smaller CEU offerings throughout the state.
Public Relations
Chair: Linda Burger
This committee promotes the Association and the professions throughout the state.
