MSHA in Your Community

In addition to contributing to legislative process, MSHA Members are actively involved in the everyday lives of Maryland citizens — not only through their work with clients and families, but also in their support for citizens of all abilities. Take a look at some of the articles below describing MSHA Members actively participating in the community, and visit our Community Area in the MSHA Forum for upcoming events of interest.

SPEECH PATHways Foundation
The SPEECH PATHways Foundation seeks to open the doors to high-quality private speech-language pathology services and programs for the children of Carroll County and the surrounding areas, to ensure a brighter childhood and future. Created in 2007 by MSHA member Kimberly A. Bell, M.S., CCC-SLP, the nonprofit Foundation provides grants to families in need and offers a free quarterly Parent Discussion Group on timely topics.
