Expirations & Renewals
Audiology and speech-language pathology licenses expire on May 31st of even-numbered years. Twenty (20) continuing education units must be obtained during the 2-year renewal period. The required 20 CEU's must be obtained between June 1st of the first year and May 31st of the second year of the renewal period (e.g., for the May 31, 2002 renewal, 20 CEU's must be obtained between 6/1/00 and 5/31/02). Newly Licensed Practitioners
The Maryland Board waives the continuing education hours for anyone licensed within the renewal period. CEU Equivalencies One hour of attendance at a MSHA program is equal to one continuing education unit (1 CEU). Helpful MD Board Links
