MSHA provides ample opportunities to obtain ongoing training and required continuing education units through regularly scheduled programs as well as occasional specialized programming. Annual Convention
Held each Spring, the MSHA Annual Convention is a two-day conference during which MSHA members gather to attend continuing education sessions on topics for various instructional levels. The Annual Convention also features vendor exhibits, poster sessions and roundtable discussions.

Adult Services Winter Workshop & Discussion Groups
The Adult Services Winter Workshop and Discussion Groups focus on a specific topic in delivery of adult services by speech-language pathologists and audiologists. The 2009 Winter Workshop topic, presented by Barbara Sonies, PhD, BRS-S, was Dysphagia ”Clinical Decisions and Treatment Options.” The next Winter Workshop will be held January 30, 2010, when Dr. Ianessa Humbert will present on "Swallowing Neurophysiology and Electrical Stimulation." CEUs are awarded to all who attend.

Clinical Connections Conference
Held in the Fall of each year, the Clinical Connections Conference features a mini-conference on a timely clinical topic. CEUs are awarded to all who attend.
