MSHA provides two convenient ways to join MSHA. You can join online or download a membership application and mail to MSHA, depending on your membership type.
Professional Membership
The membership year for MSHA runs from January 1 through December 31. Membership dues are $75.00 per year if paid before February 1st, and $100.00 per year if paid after February 1st. Members of DC and Virginia state speech-language-hearing associations can deduct $5.00 off any dues amount with proof of membership in another state association (Affiliate Professional Membership). NOTE: Members must join by January 31 to receive the Member rates on the Annual Convention for that year.

Affiliate Professional Membership

The membership year for MSHA runs from January 1 through December 31. Membership dues for Affiliates are $70.00 per year if paid before February 1st, and $95.00 per year if paid after February 1st. If you are requesting a discount of membership, please download the application/form and mail it to MSHA along with your check and proof of membership in another State Association.

Associate Membership
The Associate Membership offers parents, caregivers, and other professionals who are not SLPs or Audiologists the benefits of MSHA membership at a reduced rate. Associate Membership dues are $35.00 per year and the membership year runs from January 1 through December 31. MSHA Members enjoy access to additional materials and features on the website (e.g., online networking and directory listing) as well as reduced fees for continuing education opportunities.
Lifetime Professional Membership
Members who have reached the age of 65 who have held membership for 10 of the 15 years preceding their attainment of age 65 can notify the Association and receive life membership, with all of the benefits of membership, with a waiver of annual dues.

Student Membership
Maryland graduate students in speech-language pathology or audiology programs are FREE while they are students. CFYs pay regular dues amounts. Students may register online but must send a copy of their student ID before membership will be activated.
