The Pediatric Services Committee was combined with the Private Practice Committee in 2016. They are responsible for addressing issues that arise throughout the year and providing representation for topics concerning services for children to age 18, such as within public policy or advocacy areas. Pediatric Services Committee initiatives include planning MSHA's school topic conference, held in October of year.

Mission

MSHA Pediatric Services represents the education and efforts of SLPs and Audiologists to provide effective services for children in the Maryland community.

Pediatric Services Initiatives

Clinical Connections Conference

In October of each year, the Pediatric Services Committee holds the annual Clinical Connections Conference — a day-long workshop that targets a topic of specific interest to service providers who work with children. Attendees are awarded continuing education units for participation. For specific information about these events, visit the continuing education area.

Volunteer

MSHA welcomes members and students as committee volunteers. The more volunteers that are involved, the stronger we are in representing the profession throughout Maryland. For further information, please contact the MSHA office at 410-239-7770 or email us.
